From 1 May to 31 October 2010, the mega-city on the banks of the Yangtze River hosted the biggest World’s Fair of all times, with the biggest german participation of all times, where the theme was "Better City, Better Life."
The goal was to showcase different solutions to make the lives of residents of the world’s metropolises better. Improving the quality of urban life requires innovative technologies as well as sustainable use of the planet’s resources.
