Plus X Award supports therapeutic BMX training

Chris Böhm, runner-up to the German BMX world championship and registered pediatric nurse, not only thrills and fascinates countless fans with his unique performances in the field of sports, but he was also successful in being able to combine both his career in sports with his profession.

In 2007, Chris Böhm initiated the therapeutic BMX Training, a program that provides children and teens at a social disadvantage suffering from psychological and psychosomatic dysfunctions with the opportunity for fitness and coordination training and a chance to overcome their fears. The therapeutically designed program, which in the meantime has become an established cornerstone in multi-professional treatment concepts at St. Elisabethen Hospital in Lörrach, is absolutely unparalleled in Germany or anywhere else around the world.

Plus X Award

Since early 2009, Plus X Award has been following the progress of the work performed by Böhm and has been supporting him in his efforts to expand the school for therapeutic BMX Training even further so as to be able to provide even more children and teens with the opportunity to take part in this unique project.
