Presenting Awards

They are actually the most important people behind the Plus X Award: The jurors. That’s because the 17 renowned trade journalists and industry personalities are those who decide on who will receive the Plus X Award seals. Based on their specific field of professional knowledge they form various different panels of expertise. The jury members of these panels decide which of the technology products receive an award each year.

Awards are generally given to brand quality exclusively. Based on the five categories innovation, design, ease of use, ecology and ergonomics. The jury also makes a decision on whether the product offers added value to the consumer or whether a product is simply a “me too" item. These kinds of items don’t stand a chance at the Plus X Award – that is something the jurors always agree upon.

Every product that is submitted is tested exhaustively and then discussed in detail: During a process that lasts several weeks, the experts judge the most powerful and the most innovative products offered in the technology industry sectors.
