Lifetime Achievement Award

Honoring a Lifetime of Achievement

The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to individual persons, who have been a particular innovative force behind the development of technical products. The Lifetime Achievement Award presented to an important individual in the industry is therefore not a reflection of the current status of this person's reputation, but instead goes further to include the historic achievements he or she has made. Those persons, who over long periods of time not only shaped the market but also significantly contributed to changes in the market, are honored with a special award as a part of the Plus X Award: The Lifetime Achievement Award.

Prof. Dr. Amar G. Bose, BOSE Corporation, MA, USA

Because of his great mind as a researcher, we honor Prof. Amar G. Bose with the
Lifetime Achievement Award for his life’s work.

He still remains the head and driving force as well as the owner of BOSE Corporation, MA, USA.
Like no other before him, he significantly shaped and changed the world of consumer electronics.

The prize was presented during the Plus X Award Night ceremony on May 20 in Boston, MA, USA.

Plus X Award would like to congratulate Prof. Bose and wish him continued success in the future!

James Dyson was honored with the Plus X Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007 for his contributions to the industry as an outstanding inventor by virtue of his forward-looking, entrepreneurial activities.

The prize, which at the time was awarded for the very first time, was presented to Mr. Dyson at the British Embassy in Germany.
