The INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR / PRACTICAL WORLD is the primary platform for innovations in the tools, security, locks and fittings as well as the home improvement / DIY sectors. The international hardware and DIY industries meet every two years in Cologne. The last fair took place from March 9 - 12, 2008. Once again this year, the fair's professional visitors were primarily interested in technology, design und functionality. 70,000 visitors from 129 countries gained insights on the product trends, technology developments and marketing strategies of 3,375 exhibitors from 61 countries. The next INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR / PRACTICAL WORLD will take place from February 28 to March 3, 2010.
