Trade Fair
The Hall of Fame of the Plus X Award
Exhibiting elite brands:
The Hall of Fame is a high-tech trade show booth - but there's nothing ordinary about it: By presenting the award-winning products on an equal stance, the Plus X Award arena is considered to be a "neutral zone". As such, it is an extremely popular venue for people who are interested in getting the rundown on the number of different and best technologies available on the market.
In years 2005 through 2008, the trade show space had already proven to be very successful at the Internationale Funkausstellung in Berlin. Tens of thousands of visitors swarmed into the Hall of Fame to become familiar with the best of the best of all brand products. The media was thrilled, too: Practically every major news broadcasts shown on German television reported on the latest winner to claim victory to the Plus X Award - while at the same time they were able to maintain their neutrality, because it is well known that Europe's largest technology competition gives any innovative brand the chance to successfully participate.
First-rate presentation platform for award-winning products
The IFA is the world's largest public exhibition of consumer electronics and home appliances. Held at the trade fair center in the shadow of Berlin's landmark "Funkturm" radio tower, it features all the top brands in the consumer electronics and home appliance segments.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Plus X Award Hall of Fame provided an attractive demonstration of today's top technological achievements. Covering more than 1500 square meters, the Hall of Fame hosted an impressive presentation of award-winning consumer electronics and home appliances. As in previous years, the Plus X Award Hall of Fame was an "audience magnet" and as such once again attracted a large number of exhibition visitors and media representatives from the world over. Appearances such as that of US megastar and pop icon LADY GAGA made this year's Hall of Fame presentation one of the absolute highlights of the IFA trade fair.
Prominently located in Hall 18, just inside the north entrance to the exhibition halls and directly adjacent to the radio tower, the Hall of Fame gave the general public, industry professionals and the media an opportunity to admire this year's most innovative new products and technologies. Again this year, the Plus X Award featured consumer electronics and "white goods" - from innovative flat-screen TVs to the latest generation of digital cameras, from high-end Blu-ray players and multi-media smartphones to ecologically friendly washing machines. The Plus X Award has been setting new standards since 2005, when it created an entirely new presentation platform for the electronics and appliance industries at the IFA trade fair.

Since then, national and international media outlets - print, radio, online and television - have consistently offered extensive reports about the award-winning products. As part of the comprehensive service provided by the Plus X Award, members of the panel of judges have been made available for interviews with the media during the IFA exhibition, where they have expounded on the awards program itself and explained why the winning products were selected.
